Warwick was founded in 1982 in the German region of Erlangen, and has made a name for itself in the history of music thanks to its exquisite bass production, although they also manufacture amplifiers, amp cabinets and strings. Throughout the years, thanks to its unwavering commitment to quality, Warwick has grown exponentially encompassing almost the entire planet, having headquarters in Markneukirchen (Germany), Shanghai (China), and Nashville (USA).
In its early days, their reputation grew up quickly thanks to a small catalog focused on quality. Over the years and due to its rapid growth, Warwick has ended up creating basses of all kinds and for all pockets, but always maintaining its focus on quality.
Its products are divided into several series, led by its Custom Shop (Masterbuilt) models, including the Corvette, Streamer, Thumb SC and Dolphin models, all made in Germany, except for the Alien model, which is built in Korea. This series is followed by the Limited Editions, introduced in 2001, which uses exotic woods and different combinations of pickups and electronics as well as finishes to make its products stand out from the crowd.
This would be followed by the Signature Series, based on exclusive designs by bassists such as Bootsy Collins, Adam Clayton (U2), Jack Bruce (Cream), Robert Trujillo (Metallica) or Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai). Finally, Warwick has two more series, for professional musicians (Pro Series) and beginners or intermediate level (Rockbass).
