And how did it all began? Juanjo Verdú, founder and CEO of Fanatic Guitars started the business back in 1998 to answer the demand for exceptional quality instruments for professional musicians, gradually spreading its services to fulfill the needs of all kinds of music aficionados. We like to call these first years our ‘garage days’: we imported, repaired and sold our products in an old warehouse in Poblenou (Barcelona). Our goal, to to offer a real custom service to the customers, listening to their needs and using our expertise to find the most suitable product at the best price possible. Years passed and our guitar fanaticism built us a strong reputation in the Barcelona music scene. Thanks to a growing demand, we finally opened a cozy and beautiful store in downtown Barcelona, which marked a turning point for the local guitar fans and became Google’s top rated guitar shop in Spain!
